Duties
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and related systems.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on shocks, struts, and other suspension components.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper function and performance.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely while moving equipment and materials.
- Work on farm machinery, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.
- Align vehicles to manufacturer specifications for safety and performance.
- Utilize soldering techniques for electrical repairs when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair facility.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment handling.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes for custom parts is a plus.
- Experience working with farm machinery is advantageous.
- Valid certification or training in diesel technology is preferred but not mandatory.
