Position Overview
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Cleaning Technician will be responsible for performing common household tasks to maintain buildings in a clean and orderly condition.
Shift
Second Shift: 2:00pm - 12:30am, Tuesday - Friday OR Monday - Thursday (3-month rotation)
Pay
$17.50 / Hour ($16.00 / Hour $1.50 Shift Premium)
Essential Functions
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean windows, glass, or mirrors
- Gather and empty trash
- Steam clean or shampoo carpets
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment
- Follow procedures for the proper use of chemical cleaners and power equipment per established guidelines
- Perform tasks in accordance with daily spreadsheet schedules, time allocation sheets and checklists
- Clean up bodily fluids in the event of an incident per the Blood Bourne Pathogens Policy
- Continuous monitoring of the cleanliness of facilities and equipment
- Notify management of any repairs or potential building hazards
- Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards
Qualifications
Experience
- 0-1 year of experience cleaning at office and manufacturing facilities ideal but not required
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of general cleaning processes
