Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Talent Manager, the Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will focus on talent attraction and acquisition activities across the organization, with a specific focus on Professional opportunities.
While recruiting will be a large focus of this position, the TA Specialist will partner with various leaders to create an engaging candidate and employee experience.
This individual must enjoy a fast-paced environment, be resourceful and innovative in locating talent, and want to foster a culture of caring for our current and future employees.
Professional functions include but are not limited to; Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Research & Development.Essential FunctionsDevelop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent, utilizing various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
Act as the first point of contact for candidates who are exploring Standard Process as a potential employer, including networking contacts, vendor contacts, job fairs, and new employees.
Source and screen candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs, proactively engaging with potential candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, establish job descriptions, and define candidate profiles.
Manage job postings on internal and external platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Conduct initial assessments and (onsite / virtual) interviews, evaluating candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate interview schedules, travel arrangements, and candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.Facilitate the selection process, including reference checks, background screenings, and offer negotiations, start dates, and other pertinent details.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools.Utilizing the applicant tracking systems (ATS), provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, time-to-fill metrics, and hiring costs.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and innovations in talent acquisition, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, serving as a brand ambassador for the organization.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, company policies, and best practices.Support the Annual and Summer Internship Program with recruiting, orientation, program activities, end of program presentations, and ongoing career opportunities.
