The Project Manager will serve as the point person for major projects, customers, and programs as assigned, interfacing with multiple departments, associates, and team members to ensure projects and customer accounts are managed effectively and efficiently, while maintaining margins, meeting timelines, and communicating schedules with team members. This position will also be involved in strategic negotiations with internal and external suppliers necessary for the execution of the projects, and will guarantee that they are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Responsibilities Include: Follow Standard Textile’s standards for project management Take end-to-end ownership and overall responsibility for project completion Identify key internal and external stakeholders, discussing shared expectations, and procuring resources to move project forward. Set expectations for internal and external entities to meet all margin, communication, and timeline expectations Review contracts, quotes, specifications, blueprints, and contract documentation as required Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serve as a subject matter expert on all projects and customers assigned, and as a resource for team members on technical, system, and product questions. Review initial quotes and opportunities in collaboration with key stakeholders Qualifications Include: 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 2 Years in a Project Management role 5 Years in Project Management role preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Project Management software Experience with web based project management applications and JD Edwards Enterprise One preferred Availability outside of normal business hours to address business needs Ability to enter sales and pull order information from the system Ability to travel to out of state projects, and assist with sales as needed PMP Standard Textile is proud to announce it has been selected as a 2021 and 2022 US Best Managed Company.
