The Machine Operator will operate, tend, and maintain machines related to the textile manufacturing process, assisting to create hotel, hospital and home sheet and towel products. What will you do? You will arrange and test machines to ensure everything is working properly and in good condition. You will program all operating instructions into machine before running. You will insert production materials to enhance production output. You will ensure all machines are calibrated / re-calibrated before and after production procedures. You will troubleshoot machine problems to determine faults. You will adhere to client job specifications and ensure quality standards are met. You will review and follow blueprints from work layouts to ensure accuracy in production tasks. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience working with fabrication machines Ability to work nights, weekends and/or overtime Knowledge of mechanical devices Ability to read and understand technical manuals Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be comfortable working in a hot/cold non-climate- controlled environment enhance production output.
