We are a growing home health company based out of Plano Texas that is dedicated to providing quality patient care throughout several major cities. To support our clinical team, we maintain an in-house supply storeroom with essential medical supplies and printed admission packets for new patients. We are seeking a Home Health Supply Coordinator to oversee inventory tracking, supply distribution, vendor orders, and admission packet management.
Job Summary:
The Home Health Supply Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring clinicians have the medical supplies and documentation needed to provide high quality patient care. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory, processing supply requests, ordering from vendors, and managing the production of patient admission packets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Inventory & Distribution
- Maintain organization and oversight of the in-house supply storeroom.
- Track inventory levels and ensure proper stock management.
- Implement a check-out system for clinicians to sign out supplies.
- Restock supplies and maintain an efficient inventory rotation.
Ordering & Vendor Coordination
- Process supply requests from clinicians and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders with various vendors as needed.
- Compare pricing and maintain cost-effective supply procurement.
- Keep accurate records of supply orders, costs, and vendor transactions.
Admission Packet Management
- Track and maintain the inventory of printed admission packets.
- Coordinate the printing, assembly, and distribution of patient admission folders.
- Ensure adequate stock of admission packets based on patient intake needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in inventory management, supply coordination, or logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain accurate records and track supply usage.
- Experience in a healthcare or home health setting is a plus.
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (Our EMR) is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
- Ability to lift and move supply boxes as needed (reasonable accommodations available).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
