Overview:
Star Developmental Services is seeking compassionate and charismatic individuals to mentor and support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence within their homes. As a Supportive Living Caregiver, you will provide essential caregiving and companionship, assist with daily living activities, and engage in community-based outings that foster social interaction.

As a Supportive Living Caregiver, you will provide essential caregiving and companionship, assist with daily living activities, and engage in community-based outings that foster social interaction.
Position Details:
- Type: Part-time
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Clear background check and physical examination required.
- Willingness to complete a drug test.
- Valid California driver’s license with a good driving history.
- Ability to assist with personal care needs and provide transportation for community outings and activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living skills such as shopping, meal preparation, clean-up, and laundry.
- Encourage social activities and foster friendships and circles of support.
- Promote self-advocacy and independence among participants.
- Adapt support to meet the individual needs of each participant, demonstrating a commitment to the principles of supported living.
