Warehouse Associate

Star Furniture is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Associate . This individual will help with daily operations at our Bridgeport, WV warehouse. Candidates should be self-motivated, hardworking, and team oriented.

Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00.

$15 hour.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to lift, pull, and/or push upwards of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to work in various warehouse and weather conditions.
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.
• Show care and concern for work output.
• Ability to learn new skills and take instruction.
• Ability to navigate forward and backward.
• Ability to work independently, while also being a strong “team player.”

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Move furniture. Unload incoming delivery trucks.
• Processes and organizes incoming merchandise to be inventoried.
• Scan and place incoming inventory on stock shelves.
• Assists in pulling merchandise for the next day’s deliveries.
• Opens/unwraps merchandise that has been pulled for delivery.
• Assembles merchandise to be delivered.
• Ensures that merchandise is defect free.
• Reports defected merchandise to the Service Technician for repairs.
• Organizes merchandise on the loading docks according to delivery order.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Assists customers with merchandise pickups.
• Performs duties in an appropriate and safe manner at all times.
• Adheres to The Companies Safety Policy.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time
