POSITION: Fuel Delivery Transportation Driver
Our Fuel Delivery Transportation Drivers have important roles at Star Nursery. They are responsible for safely transporting fuel and re-fueling trucks and equipment.
Position Details
- Must be physically capable and willing to work safely
- Must be willing to work in hot/dry/weather for extended periods
- Current valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Applicable Endorsements (HazMat/Tanker, Air Brakes, Std Transmission)
- Certified in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods or HazMat
- Experience delivering bulk fuel or other bulk liquids with formal training, or a combination of relevant education and experience
- A good sense of direction
- A friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Excellent defensive driving skills and safe driving techniques
- Good communication and people skills (orally or written) are required
- Acceptable Driver’s Abstract to the position.
- Tues – Sat / hours to be discussed
Qualifications:
2 years of experience as a HazMat Driver
Must be safety minded
Must work well with others as well as independently
Additional information:
Full Time
The work requires moderate-heavy physical exertion
Applicants must be physically fit and be able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 70 lbs.
Pre-employment drug screening required
