Share your skills in a job you'll really like! We are looking for a Residential Counselor/Direct Support Professional to work Overnights Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from10PM to 6AM.
If you have at least one year of experience supporting people with disabilities and a passion for helping people achieve their goals, we are looking for you! We have an opening for a permanent, part time Residential Habilitation Counselor/Direct Support Professional at an IRA located in Rochester, NY. Our counselors support adults with Developmental Disabilities to live successfully as members of their community. You'll be able to share your creativity and enthusiasm with others in a job that is rewarding and offers many opportunities to advance in your career.
You will need:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or one full year of college courses in a related field.
- A valid driver’s license
Other knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Commitment to including people with disabilities in all community settings.
- The ability to creatively problem solve and work effectively with a team.
