Position Summary
This Facility and Maintenance Technician role is a unique opportunity with varied tasks as needs arise. Primarily this role is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overall management of facilities and equipment within the organization. Additionally, this role has new machine build and debug opportunities, material handling duties and other duties as required. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of the physical assets and the Manufacturing folks working on the floor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Regularly inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues, perform routine maintenance, and schedule repairs to prevent breakdowns.
· Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and structural issues within the facility and equipment.
· Additional duties as required to support Plant operation – duties to include but not limited to material handling, product assembly and other duties as needed.
· Execute preventative maintenance schedules for machinery and systems to extend their lifespan and minimize downtime.
· Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies.
· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Report any safety hazards or violations.
· Work closely with other departments and teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
· Install, assemble, and set up new equipment and machinery as needed.
· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, especially regarding hazardous materials handling and disposal.
· Identify opportunities for improving equipment efficiency, cost savings, or safety, and make recommendations to management.
· At times duties may require overtime and/or emergency call-ins in order to support production needs.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
· Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and in a team.
· Strong communication skills to report issues and communicate with colleagues and management.
