INSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE

 

Department:  Sales 

Reports To:    Inside Sales Associate

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


General Purpose of the Position:

The Inside Sales Associate will monitor sales metrics and manage the sales administration process.  They will collaborate with various professionals, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment.  

 Education, Experience, and Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Required:

BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or relevant field.  Proven work experience in customer experience or as inside sales manager.  Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel.   In depth understanding of the sales administration process.  Have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, along with numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Follow order from start to completion, including providing tracking, estimated lead times, updates, and revisions as needed.
  • Confirm product availability & dealer pricing.
  • Work with vendors and team members on registering projects and sending quotes.
  • Liaise with dealers to update opportunities & follow-up on projects.
  • Conducting warm sales campaigns & update Marketing teams on activity.
  • Liaise with Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
  • Update and create portal access for dealers, introduce channels of Starin communication.
  • Update dealers’ brand franchising, as needed, for their companies’ tiered pricing.
  • Maintain sales phone queue line.
  • Address and resolve customer issues.
  • Research and coordinate with other departments to create solutions for dealers’ wants & needs.
  • Build an open-communication environment with both dealers and manufacturers.
  • Partner with outside sales (Key Account Managers) on key accounts.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Required to sit for long periods of time
  • Infrequent light physical effort required

Work is performed in an inside office environment
