Duties/Responsibilities
- Interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations.
- Develop, implement, and manage complex security plans.
- Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate.
- Maintain Physical Security requirements to include Closed Areas to meet contractual needs.
- Maintain Access Control and Intrusion Detection systems.
- Maintain security clearance records and process security clearance documents for personnel requiring access under multiple government contracts and subcontracts.
- Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control systems, audits and self-inspections, violation investigations and reports, visit requests, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs.
- Create and conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
- Author security volumes in response to RFPs and participate on proposal teams.
- Develop and deliver effective security awareness and security training programs.
- Serve as the primary security liaison between the U. S. Government and the company.
- Provide timely response to after-hour alarms.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards.
- Thorough understanding of security databases such as JPAS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFD.
- Self-motivated and capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience
- Four year university degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security clearance.
- CSSO, CPSO, ISP, or COMSEC certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated experience with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), and Program Classification Guides.
- Experience with Closed Areas and SCIF construction preferred.
Salary : $47,900 - $60,600
