We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Manufacturing to lead our production operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement production strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to streamline operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively while identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Drive innovation in manufacturing processes through the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing management or a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or similar process improvement techniques.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in PEMB/ Steel Fabrication Industry is Required.
