What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Assistant position at STARK?

A prominent family in Boca Raton is seeking a professional, experienced personal assistant for a long-term part-time role. The position is approximately 25 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate based on qualifications.

Education:

  • A degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with families and managing large homes (including multiple properties) with complex schedules is strongly preferred. Equivalent experience in similar roles will also be considered.

Executive Skills:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including managing medical records, creating charts, and maintaining expense records. Strong mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in using Apple devices including iPads, iPhones, and Mac computers; knowledge of applications to create invitations and holiday cards.
  • Proven ability to work with household staff and assist in hiring as needed.
  • Ability to plan, organize and oversee social calendars, parties and appointments.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with developing and maintaining household manuals, checklists and maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the family’s "right hand," ensuring all needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Oversee two households, including maintenance and online ordering.
  • Coordinate doctor appointments and assist in keeping accurate medical and household records.
  • Travel within the United States, if needed.
  • Assist with organizing and planning events including charity fundraisers and social gatherings.
