20.00 - 20.80 USD Per Hour
Working Location : Fresno, CA

Working Hours / Shift :
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour lunch from 12 : 30pm to 1 : 30pm

What you bring to SBHG :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate of Arts degree or technical / vocational / secretarial school diploma preferred.
- Two (2) years general secretarial experience in a medical or mental health setting preferred.
- Medical records experience preferred.
- Experience with billing / coordination systems preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License
- Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
- Differential pay offered to bilingual staff
How you will make a difference :
- Collaborates with other departments and outside agencies to process client referrals and assist in completing the admission or discharge process.
- Provides front desk office support including phones, assisting clients and visitors, and managing office communications (email, fax, etc.)
- Assists in client census for TAY FSP client by maintaining various logs and tracking systems. Maintains current eligibility information for clients.
- Processes referrals, schedules appointments, initiates admission documentation, and other tasks for client intakes. Inputs and maintains client information in the appropriate county and internal systems.
Coordinates with county workers and other community contacts when needed.
- Maintains tracking and data tools for programs across Central Star and SBHG including, but not limited to : Admit / Discharge register, referral tracking, program censuses, and program caseload.
- Interacts with participants, families, referral sources, outside agencies, and staff in a professional, efficient, and quality-focused manner.
- Maintains and sends out county required referral details log.
- Provides input to program leadership and Quality Assurance teams on ways to streamline program operations and maximize administrative efficiencies.
