Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs
- Accurately handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed
- Stay up-to-date with current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Follow proper inventory management procedures, including restocking shelves and monitoring product levels
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods is a plus
- Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system is desired
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous for effective communication with diverse customers
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and provide exceptional service
- Ability to upsell products and make recommendations based on customer preferences
- Proficient in phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries and taking orders over the phone
- Technical sales skills to explain product features and benefits to customers
