Position Summary
Performs various Deposit and Digital Banking Services as needed by internal and external customer. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to: balancing and account questions for customer needs, understanding of core systems, ability to work ACH, assist with completing wire transfers, and monitoring/balancing of the general ledger. This position will work in a team environment and requires a high degree of interaction with fellow associates. Excellent customer skills and the motivation to succeed on a professional level are required. Understand and complete job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state compliance regulations, bank policy and procedures. The work is confidential and may be complex, therefore, attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple job tasks and meet deadlines is necessary.
Essential Job Functions
- Process ACH transactions, domestic and international wire transfers, debit card maintenance, and both remote & mobile deposits.
- Processing and balancing the cash letter along with chargebacks and returned items.

Reviews reports and compliance regulations including but not limited to Regulation CC, D, DD, E, Privacy, BSA and NACHA rules.
- Provides timely and courteous support to customers and associates both verbally and in writing, regarding but not limited to: account balances, history activity, disputes, and digital banking. Initiates changes to customer accounts and bank accounting records for all changes or corrections identified. Research adjustments and construct history of accounts as requested.
- Prepares, reviews, and maintains reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Assists with installation, testing and training of bank-specific software; performs updates and maintenance as needed.
- Assists Manager as requested to maintain department standards, completion of daily work and special projects. Assists with audits and exams as requested.
- Completes all training as required to enhance job skills and maintain compliance standards.
- Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position along with assisting other departments as requested.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance preferred.
- One to three years previous banking and customer service-related experience required.
- Must have the technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information.
- The ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and Bank information.
- Effective time management skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with time pressures.
Equipment Used
Operates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet/intranet, and other bank specific software. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including, but not limited to; computer printer, ten-key calculator, fax machine, copy machine, scanner, and multi-line telephone.
Working Conditions
Work is performed largely in an office environment, during normal business hours. Deadline pressure is an integral part of the job. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage and reading/assimilating complex and technical compliance information is required. Position will alternate between walking, sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds of office supplies and/or documents throughout work shift.
