Summary Statement
The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for Delaware Psychiatric Center is a licensed Nurse Practitioner�performing under the direction of an administrative supervisor. The candidate would be a leader of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, performing comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health measures, prescribing appropriate forms of treatment, ordering and evaluating laboratory tests to identify and assess clinical problems or health care needs, providing education and counseling, identifying patient health care problems, and developing/implementing care plan-appropriate interventions.

Prepares and submits records, reports, evaluations and forms.� Participates in and make recommendations regarding quality assurance activities.�
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Advanced Practice Registered�Nurse Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Possession of a Delaware Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license or temporary permit for a Delaware Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license in the specialty area of Family Nurse Practitioner.
