Summary Statement

A variety of seasonal park positions may be available at Indian River Marina:\r\nFuel Dock Attendant�-�$11.75-$13.50�a revenue attendant position, assisting visitors with fueling and mooring vessels at the marina and collecting and accounting for fuel and resale items.\r\nRamp Attendant -�$11.75-$14.75�responsibilities include but are not limited to customer service, facility clean up, grounds keeping and other assigned duties.\r\nBoat Yard Attendant�-�$11.75-$14.25�assists the full-time boat yard staff with mooring vessels, power washing boats and flushing boat engines.\r\nIRM Night Watch�-$13.50-$16.50�is responsible for late night cottage arrivals, patrolling cottage grounds, assisting tenants with any problems within the cottages, and collecting revenue for the transient slip holders.\r\nMarina Custodial/Groundskeeper -�$12.25-$15.00�responsible for the custodial cleaning of bathrooms, facilities, and offices, along with the maintenance of grounds, facilities and equipment in the park.\r\nMarina Dock Hand�-�$12.00-$13.75 assist boaters entering and exiting their slips, direct transient boaters to the office, remind boaters of rules and regulations, and assist�staff as needed.\r\nWork is performed indoors and outdoors, weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled to meet facility needs and must be willing to work around boats and water.\r\n

Job Requirements

Please attach a resume with your online application or use the resume tab in DEL to provide a detailed description of how your education, training and/or experience meets each job requirement including employer, experience/responsibilities and dates (month/year) of employment/training.\r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\nMarina Fuel Dock Attendant�\r\n\r\n\r\n At least 16 years of age.\r\n Knowledge of working with money and making change.\r\n Knowledge of math such as addition and subtraction\r\n\r\n\r\nMarina Ramp Attendant�\r\n\r\n\r\n At least 18 years of age.\r\n Knowledge of customer service.\r\n\r\n\r\nBoat Yard Attendant\r\n\r\n\r\n Must be at least 18 years of age.\r\n Possession of a state-issued boater education card of NASBLA-approved boating safety course certificate.\r\n Experience operating a boat.\r\n\r\n\r\nMarina Custodial/Groundskeeper�\r\n\r\n\r\n Must be at least 18 years of age.\r\n Experience using landscaping equipment and hard or power tools.\r\n Possession of a valid driver's license (not suspended, revoked, or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).\r\n\r\n\r\nMarina Dock Hand�\r\n\r\n\r\n At least 14 years of age.\r\n Dock Hands will assist boaters entering and exiting their slips.\r\n Direct transient boaters to the office.\r\n\r\n\r\nIRM Night Watch\r\n\r\n\r\n Must be at least 21 years of age.\r\n Provides check in services to cottage patrons.\r\n Performs vehicle and foot patrol of assigned area(s), with long periods of standing time.\r\n\r\n\r\n
