Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Facilitation of recreation therapy or music therapy based groups with 2-15 individuals that focuses on addressing treatment based goals assigned by the treatment team (Behavioral goals, educational goals, social goals, leisure goals, etc.)
- Facilitation of individual music therapy sessions with individuals that are appropriate for and would benefit from such services
- Clinical Documentation (documentation of services, treatment recommendations, incident reports various other documentation required)
- Accepting/denying music therapy referrals, and associated documentation
- Assisting in the supervision of interns
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Music Therapy or Recreation Therapy
- Board Certification through the Certification Board of Music Therapists (CBMT) or American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA)
