Seasonal Naturalist
Job Position Number: 7040130
Salary: $15.00/hr
Job Location/Shift: This position is with Department of Natural Resources, Missouri State Parks, and will be located at Sam A. Baker State Park, 5580 State Highway 143, Patterson MO 63956. This position will be temporary, extending the length of the recreation season. The workdays are Monday through Sunday, with 2 days off, including some Saturday evenings and holidays. Work will range between 20 and 40 hours per week, not to exceed 1,000 hours total during the length of the employment.

What you’ll do:
- Prepare and conduct interpretive programs for groups of all ages and sizes
- Implement positive visitor center services
- Clean and maintain visitor center and grounds
- Care for animals in the visitor center
- Assist with trail maintenance and stewardship

Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Prefer applicants that enjoy speaking to the public

- Ability to work when scheduled
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work as a team or independently
