Why does the job exist?

The Senior Administrative Assistant will:
Provide Administrative support to the long-term Care healthcare survey team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

How does it get done?

The Senior Administrative Assistant is responsible for:
Assisting the Long-Term Healthcare Survey team to meet required deadlines by creating, modifying, and tracking the survey process to include scheduling, enforcement timelines, and submission of reports;

Providing good customer service;

Acting as liaison between Central Office and survey team during travel;

Completing travel requests for survey team to ensure timely reimbursement;

Assisting with the maintenance of fleet vehicles;

Attending meetings;

Various other clerical duties to support District 1 in meeting the needs of the Department, to include copying, scanning, scheduling, entering data, creating trackers and letters.

Minimum Qualification

High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years work experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License. Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office setting with occasional travel to care for fleet vehicles.

Bargaining Unit Position

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and all terms/conditions of that agreement apply and must be adhered to.

Salary : $20 - $30
