What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Nurse (LPN) #60009991 position at State of South Carolina?
Administration of medication, provision of student treatments, tube feedings, medical assessments, and other related nursing needs of students. Maintains adequate medical records by recording and reporting students’ signs, symptoms, reactions, and progress through analysis of records. Reports pertinent information regarding students to the physician and Nurse Administrator/Manager II. Assists in the identification of special needs for students with multiple disabilities and assists in the planning and development of in-service and educational programs for staff and students, as requested.
Graduate from an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) program. Must have a current SC LPN License issued by the State Board of Nursing and three years of full-time experience. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement.
If selected you must provide verification of your highest level of education (i.e., copy of Bachelor's degree, high school diploma, college transcript) and if applicable, licensure and/or certificate ( i.e., nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driving certification).
