The Senior Secretary provides high-level administrative support, anticipating needs while managing the day-to day workflow, prioritizing various projects, and completing other related duties as assigned.

The Senior Secretary provides high-level administrative support, anticipating needs while managing the day-to day workflow, prioritizing various projects, and completing other related duties as assigned.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- coordinating and making travel arrangements, processing travel requests and vouchers, scheduling and participating in meetings including note taking, completing various projects, and preparing information as needed;
- expenditure processing;
- management of office supply inventory following approved procurement processes, DOH fiscal policies and guidelines for supply ordering, invoicing, and contracts;
- maintain contracts with external partners;
- provide multi-line phone coverage;
- data entry and retrieval of often confidential information;
- providing support with day-to-day operations, as assigned.
- exceptional Customer Services Skills;
- experience working in collaborative team environments and demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills;
- high attention to detail;
- exceptional verbal and written communication abilities including spelling, punctuation, and grammar;
- advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint);
- a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, discretion, confidentiality, and a positive attitude;
- prior progressively responsible secretarial experience is preferred.
