Key Responsibilities
- Assists with coordinating services and strategies to improve student recruitment, retention, and graduation rates.
- Conduct student intake, verify eligibility, and provide direct services, including preparing Individualized Educational Assessment Plans (EAPs).
- Provide assistance and advise participants on social, career, financial aid, and academic matters.
- Design and deliver college readiness and success workshops.
- Coordinate and oversee academic support staff (tutors/mentors) and the six-week residential summer component.
- Gather data, maintain participant records, and contribute to the Annual Performance Report.
- Assists with planning, coordinating, and chaperoning field trips and engage in follow-up activities with participants.
- Assist with program publicity and communication efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, business, or a related field.
- Two years of recent, relevant work experience in program coordination, academic/financial aid advising, counseling, or instructing/mentoring students, preferably with TRIO or other college access/student success initiatives.
- Familiarity with college access and success efforts.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally, including possible airline travel.
- Remote location must be within reasonable driving distance of Weir High School.
