We are seeking a dynamic Showroom Manager to join our team. The candidate should be a quick learner, dependable and proactive with a focus on superior customer service and sales skills. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong written and organization skills and perform well under pressure. The ideal individual is a self-starter with strong creative thinking skills, who thrives working on multiple projects.
The Role:
- Taking ownership of our Tukwila Showroom and overseeing a productive, sales oriented and professional team
- Supervision and development of the Showroom personnel
- Working with a wide range of customers including builders, designers and homeowners giving an excellent customer service experience
- Working with outside Sales Associates to secure business
- Responding to inquiries quickly with accurate pricing and inventory information.
- Overseeing design of Showroom displays for new products
- Ensuring smooth and efficient showroom function
Qualifications:
Prior flooring and management experience is strongly preferred.
A successful Showroom Manager will possess the following:
- The ability to train, inspire and lead a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design an asset
- The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge
- The ability to work across department lines and to manage time and people
- An understanding of the basics of design and interior decorating
- Organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
- Works well under pressure
- Good general computer skills
