Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, including invoice processing, customer relations, payment collections, and month-end closing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and contractual terms.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and accounting, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data and transactions.
- Support the finance team in the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax filings.
- Participate in merger and acquisition projects, including due diligence, integration, and reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures for accounts receivable management.
- Train and coach, the accounts receivable staff
- Multi-task effectively and be flexible in handling various tasks.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferred.
- At least five years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
- Experience with merger and acquisition transactions, including due diligence, integration, and reconciliation.
- Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
