Job Summary :
The Field Project Manager will provide complete project oversight and coordinate various / multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Supervises construction crews, contractors and subcontractors to ensure that work meets quality standards and adheres to specifications for services.
- Help prepare and submit budget estimates and provide insight and detailed total information for cost-effectiveness with time, labor, materials for and during the bid and completion process.
- Maintains daily schedules and coordinates projects in logical steps and budgets the time necessary to meet each deadline.
- Ensures adherence to the budget and, when unexpected complications or issues arise, makes quick and necessary adjustments.
- Maintains and manages any in field revisions and change orders and notifications to all parties.
- Plans, coordinates, organizes, oversees, and directs daily field activities regarding the construction and maintenance of assigned structures, facilities, and systems.
- Manages, schedules, supports, leads construction crews, to include daily schedules, daily documentation of project progress / hours worked / all required documentation.
- Manages and leads actions that are necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
- Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, and construction or design issues.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including coworkers, owners, managers, designers, supervisors, and tradespersons.
- Ensure safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met in construction.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Education and Experience :
At least three years of construction project management experience.
