Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various flooring types and possess a strong understanding of installation techniques. As a Flooring Installer, you will play a crucial role in transforming spaces by ensuring that flooring is installed correctly and efficiently.

Duties

• Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
• Install various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet, according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during the installation process.
• Prepare surfaces for installation by performing tasks such as leveling floors, concrete finishing, and floor care.
• Read and interpret schematics to determine layout and installation requirements.
• Collaborate with contractors and clients on remodeling projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform buffing and finishing tasks as needed to enhance the appearance of installed flooring.

Experience

• Previous experience in flooring installation or related fields such as remodeling or construction is preferred.
• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools commonly used in flooring installation is essential.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction sites is advantageous.
• Skills in carpentry or maintenance person tasks are a plus, enhancing versatility on the job site.
• A strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately is required for success in this role.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
