Staver Hydraulics, a Parker Hannifin distributor is looking for an Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager for our Allentown and Bath, PA office. An Outside Sales Representative will grow our customer base by providing new leads as well as maintain and grow existing customers. As the third oldest Parker distributor our knowledge and understanding of the industries and products we supply add value to every interaction and sale.
Responsibilities
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Grow customer base, manage and maintain existing customer accounts.
- Understand customer needs and requirements and respond in a timely manner.
- Learn product line to assist customers in technical discussions, become a trusted advisor to customers.
- Generate leads, propose on and close sales.

- Proven outside sales experience.
- Self-starter with a desire for success.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening skills.
- Excellent sales and negotiating skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
Qualifications
- Two-year sales experience with track record of success
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field (Preferred)
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Mechanical aptitude
- Fluid Power experience
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
Compensation package is commensurate with experience.
