POSITION: Your position will be Physical Therapist Assistant, reporting to the Clinic Director of StayFIT. Your duties and responsibilities include:
- Accepts responsibility for patient’s personal care and environment throughout Rx
- Follows established procedures and observes safety precautions/contraindications in the use of heat, cold, electrical stimulation, water, ultrasound and massage. Accepts responsibility for application, monitoring and removal of various modalities.
- Instructs and supervises patient in therapeutic exercises, ambulation and functional activities.
- Observes, records and reports the patient’s condition, reactions, and responses of Rx to the physical therapist.
- Communicates to keep team, caregivers and others informed-Actively participates in problem solving, flexible in meeting the demands of the clinic; demonstrates active listening and a diplomatic style of providing feedback.
- Professional Behavior: enhances clinic skills, manages time effectively, maintains productivity, keeps abreast with current info via attending meetings and reading memos, reports to area on time.

- Inspects and maintains therapeutic equipment supplies and modalities
- Documentation in a timely and appropriate manner -minimizing reimbursement denials including daily documentation and flow sheets, time sheets accurate and turned in timely, stat grids, conditions and formula write ups weekly.
