Duties/Responsibilities

Estimate Buildings

• Review projects to obtain all necessary information to complete an accurate estimate
• Request special pricing from vendors when required
• Input project information into MBS and other programs
• Maintain timelines
• Review projects from Estimator I and II, as directed

Required Skills/Abilities

• A solid understanding of Metal Building Industry terminology, design, and processes
• Ability to read customer sketches, architectural, and structural drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
• A solid understanding of CAD software
• Proficient communication skills: verbal, written, and electronic

Education and Experience

• Required: 10 years in previous metal building experience and 5 years of experience in MBS estimating.

Physical/Environment Requirements

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time
• Intense focus for extended periods of time

Effectively outline the comprehensive scope of work for each project, encompassing all relevant details regarding deliverables, timelines, and adherence to client specifications. This pivotal role involves fine details of project parameters to align seamlessly with customer expectations, ensuring the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this position demands strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
