SteerBridge Strategies is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support the Loan Guaranty (LGY) program at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This role is part of a collaborative agile team modernizing legacy systems through secure and scalable software development practices. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing secure continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and supporting cloud-native infrastructure.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, including favorable Tier 1 (T1) background investigation and electronic fingerprints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of security tools and processes integrated into DevSecOps (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Anchore).
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines that support continuous delivery of applications.
• Integrate automated security controls and tools across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to support a secure and scalable system architecture.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and implement fixes for long-term scalability.
• Document processes, pipeline configurations, and deployment strategies.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Support compliance with VA cybersecurity and configuration management policies.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
