As a Diesel Mechanic you will support engineering during testing activities. Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection.

As a Diesel Mechanic you will support engineering during testing activities. Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection.
- Min. 5 years of truck service or Heavy-Duty Truck or relevant diesel automotive experience.
- Education: High School Diploma
- Basic understanding or knowledge of Truck systems (steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, engine, transmission, drivability/handling, emissions)
- Heavy duty diesel diagnostics is a plus.
- Identify different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand function.
- Support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection during testing activities.
- Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, component testing.
- Must have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Perform vehicle retrofits including custom installations to prepare vehicles for test.
- Routine maintenance and inspections on class 8 vehicles
- Programming and troubleshooting of vehicle systems using service tools.
