Overview
Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Job Location: Williamsport, PA
Responsible for all manufacturing aspects of a specific product line(s) in a multi shift operation. This includes direct supervision and coordination of production employees in the Fittings and Test Departments, as well as, the Production Supervisor responsible for the Assembly Department.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision to ensure all manufactured products meet specifications and quality standards as designed.
- Coordinate activities of all departments within the specified product line(s) to ensure production schedules are achieved and maintained.
- Train employees in correct use of tools, equipment, processes and/or procedures required to efficiently manufacture product.
- Oversee product line(s) employees to ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures such as: Safety, Environmental, Security and Ethics.
- Review and Approve (or Dis-Approve) all manufacturing documentation for the product line(s) that is created or revised through the use of ECO’s and/or Temporary ECO’s.
- Review and troubleshoot monthly cost reports for all products within the product line(s).
- Carries out other duties as delegated.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent with five to ten years manufacturing experience.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator.
- Demonstrated manufacturing skills.
