What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teacher position at Step by Step School for Early Learning?
Step by Step is looking for an energetic, creative, and dependable individual to join our teaching team as a part-time after-school teacher.

...You are available some or all weekday afternoons (approximately 3-6pm), M-F. *Currently Tuesdays and Thursdays are in highest need*
...You want to make some extra money on the side with part-time employment (perfect for college students or those otherwise employed in the mornings!)
Job duties include:
Welcoming children from a local elementary school as they arrive
Alongside a co-teacher, leading and managing a group of approximately 12-20 children, ages 5-11 yrs
Serving snack, supervising outdoor play time, helping with homework, planning arts and crafts
Communicating with families at pick-up time
Requirements include:
Schedule availability 2:30/3:30 to 5:30/6:00pm on days during the work week (preference for those available at least Tuesdays and Thursdays). Opportunity to add additional hours on in-service days or other days the district is closed.
Eligibility for all state clearances and a physical and TB test
High school diploma (required) or higher education (optional)
