Step Up Rehab is now seeking a Regional Director of Therapy. Step Up and lead our fantastic team of licensed therapists. We are a therapy provider offering an array of services to our facilities and patients. Our patients receive rehabilitative therapies including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Here at Step Up Rehab, the Regional Director of Rehab is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating rehabilitation programs, services and personnel in a manner that supports the goals of multiple facilities of a designated region, while meeting federal and state regulations, and the state specific practice acts for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. The Regional Director of Rehab is responsible for direct patient care delivery in their discipline. The Regional Director of Rehab will demonstrate a positive attitude and team building approach with all patients, clients, and team members.
Regional Therapy Director Qualifications:
- MULTI SITE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- Travel is required 70-75% of the work week
- Must hold a current and active license as one of the following: Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist
- At least 2 years of multi-site management experience in a skilled-nursing setting

Regional Director of Therapy Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Director, having responsibility for both inpatient and outpatient services across multiple locations, will work to further the facility's mission by ensuring high quality patient care, growing services and developing new programs for the given Region that are in support of the company’s strategic plans, goals and objectives.
- Establishes operational strategies and metrics to measure the effectiveness of those strategies
- Manages rehab staffing levels and patient care levels to meet clinical and operational needs.
- Ensures ongoing rollout of new policies and procedures to departmental staff.
- Preparation and management of the budgets of all service components of region, including the annual preparation of budgets and capital requests to ensure appropriate and effective allocation of resources to support operations while maintaining a quality program
- Participates in facility performance improvement program.
- Participates in facility marketing activities as indicated.
- Displays appropriate written and verbal communication skills and responds in a timely manner.
- Ensures ongoing communication with patients, clients and team members in order to keep them informed of key issues and program development opportunities, and to maintain strong customer relations at all times.
- Reviews the medical records assuring federal and state requirements and conditions of participation for Medicare, Medicaid and other alternative payment models met.
- Consistently attends work, travels to facilities, and provides appropriate notice for scheduled vacations.
- Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
- Monitors that a preventative maintenance program is in place for the equipment utilized within the department and reports any problems to the appropriate personnel.
Salary : $79,800 - $101,000
