What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Operator position at Stepan Company?
Job Description
The Wilmington, NC site currently has an Chemical Operator opening in the Terate® Production area. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor. The successful candidate comes with prior experience in utilities operation, materials handling or a chemical manufacturing environment. The assignment works 12-hour rotating shift schedule with some overtime and the ability to adjust work schedule as needed to meet business needs.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
Experience in industrial utilities or chemical manufacturing operations
Experience troubleshooting / applying mechanical skills for minor repairs on process equipment
Basic computer skill level: Microsoft – Excel, Word, Outlook (documentation creation, creating workbooks,)
Education
High School Diploma or GED
