Our firm is seeking a Tax Associate with knowledge and experience to join our Tax Department in our Moorestown, NJ office. You will be responsible for assisting the Tax Department in providing accurate and timely accounting and tax services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clear and effective written and verbal communication internally and externally with project team, peers and leadership
Collaborate with team on problem solving and provide solutions on client engagements or projects
Provide support with tax return preparation including, but not limited to, research, planning and preparation of work papers for returns and various projects
Expand analytical skills and apply effectively
Complete research based specific engagement needs, analyze, and present suggested solutions to engagement manager;
Support other projects as they arise with participation, solution-based thinking, and initiative
Prioritize and complete tasks effectively
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EDUCATION
Bachelors or Masters of Accounting and/or Taxation
Pursuing CPA certification
General knowledge of taxation and application
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated project management skillset including project planning and time management
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment
