What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Case Manager position at Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Inc.?
Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, Inc has served our community for 42 years, working to eliminate violence and providing emergency shelter and transitional housing for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. This position provides program services for families with children experiencing (or at risk of) family violence, child abuse, and homelessness. Wrap around services and case management is provided, along with crisis intervention. This position also promotes the prevention of family violence and child abuse in the community through public education and awareness. Previous case management experience or similar experience working with youth is required. Coursework in the area of human services is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills, excellent organizational skills, outstanding customer service skills are required. Empathy and compassion are imperative. This position is located at our emergency shelter location.
