Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and individual student needs.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to enhance student learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs or requiring early intervention.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster literacy education through engaging reading and writing activities tailored to different age groups.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns related to child welfare.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Skills
- Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private school environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Proficiency in teaching subjects such as math, literacy, and physical education.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles.
