Classroom Teacher Preschool 3-4 year olds

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students and will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children. This role requires collaboration with parents, staff, and administration to ensure the best educational outcomes for all students.

Duties

• Develop and implement curriculum that meets educational standards and individual student needs.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to enhance student learning.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs or requiring early intervention.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Foster literacy education through engaging reading and writing activities tailored to different age groups.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns related to child welfare.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant documentation.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, preschool, or private school environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Proficiency in teaching subjects such as math, literacy, and physical education.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
