Position Description
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements and use cases for AI and data-driven solutions
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for development or configuration
- Evaluate current systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
- Support implementation of new applications, including testing, documentation, and user training
- Collaborate with developers, vendors, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and enterprise standards
- Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to resolve system or integration issues
- Create and maintain process flows, data mappings, and system documentation
- Assist with change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications or platforms
- Provide ongoing user support, reporting, and process optimization
- Support planning and design efforts related to systems, data platforms, and infrastructure
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in enterprise applications, IT systems, business automation, data platforms, or AI/ML tools
- Experience with OpenAI technologies or generative AI platforms preferred; strong interest in AI adoption required
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages
- Experience with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 integrations, and/or Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, and enterprise security frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in person across departments
- Ability to analyze business processes and deliver practical, actionable AI solutions
- 1099 independent contractor position
- No benefits, bonuses, or PTO
- In-office role in The Woodlands, TX (not remote or hybrid)
