What are the responsibilities and job description for the Picker Packer position at Sterling Lighting?
Warehouse Picker/Packer: Full Time OR Part Time - $13/hr
Sterling Lighting is a manufacturer and distributor of professional outdoor lighting products. The Picker Packer's purpose is to provide unparalleled support to our customers through efficient shipping methodologies to achieve rapid delivery of all products. The expectation is that all shipments are accurately and efficiently picked and packed, the warehouse environment is kept extremely clean and safe, and that product placement is kept highly organized.
OUTCOMES:
Participate in daily outgoing shipping operations with accuracy and efficiency. Self-monitoring orders for mistakes, special requests, service level, etc.
Unloading of shipments, shipment accuracy verification and communicating with supervisors re: shipments.
Participate in routine inventory checks and maintain a low margin of error with inventory counts.
Have a complete understanding of company products, components and their assembly in order to assist operations with product modifications and assembly.
Assist with entering and verifying all product weights and dimensions in warehouse systems.
Ensure products ordered before 2:00pm ship same day mon-fri and 11:00am on sat.
Follow all safety protocols
COMPETENCIES:
