What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Worker / Direct Support Weekends- Sanford position at Stevens Center?

Support Worker (at other agencies referred to as CAP workers, Hab Techs, or DSPs) needed to provide in-home and community-based training and care for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disability in Sanford. This is a part-time position with weekend hours.
Hours and days worked will be based on the needs of the individual that receives paid supports (typical schedule Sat-Sun 8:00am-3:00pm, every other weekend).
Must have ability to maintain a positive and supportive rapport with individual receiving services and their family, co-workers, and supervisor while observing professional boundaries. Reliability is a MUST!
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers' License
Verifiable automobile insurance
Clean criminal record
Pass Drug Screening
Have a Smart phone and are willing to download Apps to clock in/out and to complete daily documentation of services.
Experience is great, but the RIGHT ATTITUDE and willingness to learn are the key to success.
All required training will be provided by agency. Current CPR/FA is a plus.
Work history and references will be verified.
