We are looking for a motivated, detail‑oriented Sanitation Lead to oversee and support our night sanitation team.
Position Summary
The Sanitation Lead is responsible for leading the nightly sanitation team, ensuring all equipment and production areas are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for the next day’s operations. This role helps uphold our high standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and train night‑shift sanitation crew members.
- Ensure all equipment, floors, drains, and production surfaces are cleaned and sanitized according to company SOPs.
- Maintain accurate sanitation logs, chemical usage records, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot sanitation issues and communicate needs to supervisors and maintenance.
- Ensure safe use, handling, and storage of chemicals.
- Monitor workflow to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Uphold and model proper safety procedures and GMPs.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain a clean, safe environment.
Qualifications
- Previous sanitation experience in food manufacturing or dairy preferred.
- Leadership or team‑lead experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and food safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast‑paced, overnight environment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in wet, cold/hot environments.

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
