You must hold a certification (CHHA) from the State of Oklahoma.

You must have your own transportation and it needs to be dependable.

Minimum age of 18 years.

Home Health Aide Certification.
-
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to function in stressful situations.
-
Employed by Stillwater Medical Center for a minimum of one year or one year experience.
-
Successfully completes the written competency exam and the skills demonstration evaluation required by JKH.
-
Home telephone and dependable transportation required.

Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment. Automobile liability insurance required.

Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.

Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses, to read and write.

Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.

Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
-
Able to frequently life at least 60lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.

Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care. (i.e., vital signs, feed patients, and handle instruments.)
