Position Overview:
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of Amos Place. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth and efficient service, maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, and provide exceptional guest experiences. Your leadership, organizational skills, and passion for hospitality will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
- Guest Service: Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Staff Supervision: Support the training, development, and performance management of restaurant staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor and uphold standards of food and beverage quality, cleanliness, and presentation. Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue. Prepare reports and analyze financial data as required.
- Marketing and Promotions: Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts to attract new guests and retain loyal customers. Implement special events and seasonal promotions as directed.
- Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as managing reservations, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
