Yard Associate- Seasonal (Full-Time)

We are hiring a Seasonal Yard Associate I to support operations in our warehouse and landscape supply yard during our busy season. This is a hands-on, outdoor role focused on loading and unloading materials, operating equipment, maintaining yard organization, and assisting customers.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and enjoys physical work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks and customer vehicles

• Operate forklifts, loaders, and other yard equipment

• Move, stage, and organize product throughout the yard

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard

• Inspect materials for quality, labeling, and accuracy

• Assist customers with product loading and general questions

• Complete required documentation at the end of each shift

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Forklift certification required

• Heavy equipment experience preferred

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to regularly lift 25–75 lbs.

• Basic math and inventory skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• English proficiency required

• Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

• POS and basic computer experience a plus

Schedule & Availability

• Seasonal, full-time position (40 hours/week)

• Must be available Monday–Saturday

• Weekend work and occasional overtime may be required during peak season

Work Environment

• Outdoor yard and warehouse setting

• Exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, dust, and machinery noise

• Uneven terrain and frequent use of heavy equipment

• PPE required (safety vest, gloves, eye protection, etc.)
