What You’ll Do
As a Cost Accountant, you’ll play a key role in analyzing production costs, identifying savings opportunities, and supporting strategic financial decisions. You’ll work closely with our production, procurement, sales, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting across all bakery locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor production costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
- Audit bills of material and routing costs in the ERP system.
- Investigate cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cost efficiency.
- Assist with internal and external audits related to cost accounting.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing or food production.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
